Plumbing Inspections in Edmonton
Know the Plumbing System Before You Buy or Repair
A pre-purchase plumbing inspection looks beyond finishes to assess the systems that carry water into a home and sewage out. Always Plumbing & Heating provides plumbing inspections for Edmonton homebuyers who want the plumbing evaluated before finalizing a purchase.
We’ve delivered plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical services since 1998. Our plumbers assess the whole-home plumbing system, including its water lines and sewage system, so buyers can make property decisions with a clearer understanding of accessible plumbing concerns.
An inspection is also useful when you already own the home. We recommend annual plumbing inspections, particularly when components are aging or problems keep returning. Recurring clogs, leaks, slow drains, and unexplained changes in fixture performance are all reasons to request a professional assessment.
A plumbing condition inspection can identify accessible concerns without requiring you to authorize additional work. It gives you a professional basis for deciding what deserves attention next.
Book a plumbing inspection in Edmonton by calling (587) 742-1359. We can assess a home before purchase or investigate ongoing plumbing concerns in a property you already own.

What a Whole-Home Plumbing Inspection Can Assess
For a pre-purchase inspection, we focus on the home’s water lines and sewage system. We also recommend checking components that can cause expensive or disruptive problems when their condition isn’t understood before possession.
Important pre-purchase inspection priorities include:
- Main sewer line: We recommend assessing this largely hidden line for clogs, deterioration, or tree root intrusion that may interfere with wastewater flow.
- Water heater: We recommend including the water-heating equipment in the inspection.
- Toilets: Leaks around toilets can allow moisture to damage or rot the subflooring.
A whole-home plumbing condition inspection generally considers accessible pipes, drains, fixtures, water-heating equipment, and shutoff controls. Relevant checkpoints may include water pressure, visible pipe corrosion, fixture function, and drain performance. The exact scope depends on the home, component accessibility, and the concerns that prompted the inspection.
Professional Standards for Your Plumbing Assessment
Our technicians are nationally certified, background-checked, and drug-free under the Technician Seal of Safety, so you can feel comfortable inviting them into the property.
Their assessment turns observations into practical next steps. Depending on the condition of accessible components, you may decide to address a repair, schedule maintenance, or arrange additional diagnostics. For homebuyers, the findings can also inform the plumbing questions they consider before completing a purchase.
Clear Decisions About Recommended Work
An inspection doesn’t automatically mean every noted condition requires immediate attention. We discuss the available options and answer your questions so you can decide how to proceed.
Every job is backed by our Five-Star Service Guarantee, and you don’t pay until you’re 100% satisfied. Always Plumbing & Heating is also BBB accredited with an A+ rating.
We were voted favourite plumbing company in the Edmonton Journal’s 2023 and 2024 Reader’s Choice Awards, and we’ve been a Top Choice Award winner two years in a row.
Schedule Your Edmonton Plumbing Inspection
Arrange an inspection before finalizing a home purchase, as part of annual maintenance, or when a plumbing issue keeps returning. We can assess the system and explain the options relevant to the accessible conditions we find.
You can submit our contact form for an online inquiry. If you’re considering follow-up work, StraightForward Pricing® lets you review the exact price before work begins.
